We build software — and the tools that build software.

A PHP framework, a platform that generates applications from it, and the products we made to prove it works.

We didn't set out to build a platform.

We needed a writing app. Then we needed a faster way to build it. So we wrote a framework, and then a platform on top of it that turns a description of an application into a working one — database, admin, page composer, theme and hosting included.

Everything below was built with it. Our own publishing imprint writes with one of these products; another runs its own marketing. We use what we sell, which is how we find out what is actually wrong with it.

What we build

ClaudePHP Open source

The MIT-licensed PHP framework everything here runs on. Modular, no build step and no heavyweight toolchain — the parts you need and nothing you don't.

ClaudePHPBuilder Beta

Describe the application you need and the platform builds it — schema, admin, page composer, theme editor, hosting and a custom domain. Fifty-seven optional modules cover the things most applications end up needing anyway.

In provisional beta. Public site launching soon.

Technical consulting, application architecture, ideas & innovation

We make sure our clients are using technology to their advantage rather than working around it — whether that means building out infrastructure, streamlining an existing application, or working out where AI genuinely helps and where it does not.

We specialise in new ideas and technical innovation, using experience across many industries to find solutions and synergies that are easy to miss from inside one of them.

With decades of application development and support behind us, we can help you take an existing product further — or decide honestly whether it is worth taking further at all.

Media

Rock Court Media is our publishing imprint — books and audio. It is also StoriesDen's first real user: the same company that builds the writing software uses it to publish its own fiction. If a feature doesn't survive a real manuscript, it doesn't survive.
